NEW WORK FOR SOLO MARIMBA COMPLETED:

I have finished a new solo marimba piece commissioned by Michael Burritt. The piece is a set of variations, with an overall structure similar to that of Khan Varaitions but based on Latin rhythms. The title of thepiece is 'Burritt Variations' and it is about 11 minutes long. Th epremiere will take place the 2nd of November at the PASIC, Austin, Texas, USA, at the Michael Burritt Showcase Concert.
